During 2006, two of our pupils were nominated for a “THEATRE DANCE AWARD”.
This occurs when an examiner comes to one of our exam sessions and sees a candidate in the higher grades with great potential. Approximately 300 pupils are picked out of 6,000 candidates yearly from exam sessions up and down the country.
In March 2007 Hannah Cragg (Grade 5 Modern Jazz) and Jay Hollows (Grade 5 Tap) attended the the Awards day at the New Century Hall in Manchester and enjoyed superb classes culminating in an individual presentation of their work to the audience. They each received a certificate of nomination and benefited greatly from the experience.
